U is for Urban Areas

A lot of our time in spent in environments that we’ve built. Let’s learn more about how to incorporate natural elements into our built environment for a happy healthier society. In this lesson, students will learn about animals and plants that are often found in our urban settings by reading Squirrels Busy Day by Lucy Barnard. They will then learn about how we can increase biodiversity and improve our environment through small changes each of us can make in our landscaping.
