J is for Jays

Mississippi has a vast array of magnificent birds, and the Blue Jay is one of them. In this lesson, students will be introduced to this type of bird, learn key vocabulary, read Two Blue Jays by Anna Rockwell, participate in Readers’ Theater, discuss blue jays’ role in the ecosystem, and more! Students will conclude the lesson by making a blue bird food stash.
